Effective Feedback: What, How, and Why? (Q&A) (#43)

I received a question from a listener: “How do I take criticism graciously and make it work in my favor? Is  it so bad to defend myself when I’m wrongly perceived?”

Today, I address this question. I talk about the purpose of feedback, and I give the reasons why feedback often isn’t as effective as it should be. I note that, when you receive honest feedback, you need to act on it–even when you’re wrongly perceived–because it shows the customer that you’re far better than your worst moments.
